The treasure hunt will commence on the 23rd May at 10:00am. The starting point is in, and around, Castle Park / Abbey Street when the first clue will be published here on the website (JENNY WATTS TREASURE) in the form of a map. Then the quest begins.
There are two sets of clues already published here on the website (CLUES 1 and CLUES 2). The answers to these clues should help with the quest on the day. The 3rd and final set of clues will be published on the website on the day of the quest. Download the answer forms here: Word / PDF
WHO CAN ENTER?
Anyone under the age of 18 (on 1st April). Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
The total prize fund is £300 half of which (150 quid) is found in the treasure chest and will be awarded to the first contestant to unlock the chest. Other cash prizes will go to runners up as well the first person to complete the quest with the answers to all 24 Clues.
IS THERE AN ENTRY FEE?
No, but a donation can be made to a children’s charity to be specified.

Former shipmates and now sworn enemies, Peg-leg Antoine once had his booty plundered by Jenny Watts, right out from under his poop deck. The treasure was later smuggled to the coasts of Bangor in Northern Ireland and hasn't been seen since. Peg-Leg Antoine died soon after suffering from food poisoning from under-cooked rat.
